Enterprise Arena: Xenserver goes Open Source!

Hazzah!   Citrix announced recently that Xenserver is being brought back* to the Open Source community with Xenserver 6.1!  This is great news, coupled with the fact that it will be community based for support.  While that sounds bad in theory, Linux/Unix admins/users tend to be the most useful and dedicated in making things work, and can* do so in turn, thanks to the source code being readily available for them to tweak.  Don’t you wish all* software was like this?  I digress…

Although this announcement was back in April, I completely missed it, and so what if I write about it now?  It’ s an exciting change for the OSS community, and a much welcomed one.  The project is also in collaborating with the Linux Foundation.
